During the afternoons, the traditional church hall is transformed into an afterschool centre for 15 learners between gr.4 and gr.7. The afterschool programme wants to give these children the opportunity to do homework and learn social and creative skills in a protected environment. This is not a given for most children in our community.

Our Aim

At the aftercare we function as a family. We help each other with homework, we help aunt Madge in the kitchen and with the dishes, and we believe that we can be a family for one another that loves each other no matter what.

We are always in need of an extra helping hand to help with homework and even facilitate special activities. If you would like to join our team or one to give one afternoon per week, feel free to contact us. We'll be in touch with further details.

“When you reap the harvest of your land, don’t reap the corners of your field or gather the gleanings. Leave them for the poor and the foreigners. I am God, your God.” – Leviticus 23:22
